WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER? I spent years studying fine-art and found photography to be a natural progression in my creative studies, and wedding photography incorporated all of my favourite things: art, fashion, travel and love. Once I photographed my first celebration, I was hooked!
TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR PATH TO GET THERE: After photographing a few celebrations for friends and family, I started to find my voice and style. One of the biggest influences on that journey was shooting film, allowing me to have a more refined and artistic approach to a wedding day.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE? Elegant, timeless images that evoke beauty and real emotion.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WEDDINGS? Amidst the beauty, the style and the incredible destinations I have been lucky enough to travel to, at the heart of a wedding is just two people madly in love with each other. It's a rare gift to be surrounded by so much joy and love, and I am incredibly thankful to be a part of it.
HOW WOULD YOU SPEND YOUR IDEAL DAY OFF? My ideal day off is spent exploring a new city or taking a day trip up to wine country with my husband for a little time in the county... anything to stay inspired and get those creative juices flowing.

CAN YOU RECALL YOUR FAVOURITE WEDDING EXPERIENCE? Oftentimes I build an intimate relationship with my couples, especially the brides. During one of my weddings last season, a bride started to get incredibly overwhelmed while getting ready for the ceremony, and she pulled me aside and asked if I would just give her a big hug. I take great pride in not only creating timeless images for my clients, but also for really being there for them, in any way they need. And over a year later, we're still great friends!
ASIDE FROM FAMILY & FRIENDS, THREE THINGS YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: Chalula hot sauce, diptyque candles and a glass of pinot noir.
WHERE WOULD WE USUALLY FIND YOU ON A SUNDAY MORNING?? During the fall? Watching football with my husband. But on most other Sunday mornings? Sleeping in followed by lots of coffee.
