Residing in a the historic mill town of Easthampton, Massachusetts wedding photographer MEG HALEY aims to highlight your heritage with natural, timeless and gracefully romantic imagery. Working with both film and digital formats she is always on the search for unique and beautiful natural light, organic emotions moving across a face and tiny moments steeped in gorgeous landscapes. When she's not photographing stories you can find her discovering new music, cooking and eating delicious foods, hanging with her two cats - Darling & Honey and wandering in the woods. We're delighted to have Meg's talents in our VENDOR GUIDE.

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A PHOTOGRAPHER? Something resonated with me as I'd flip through pages of Gourmet Magazine and National Geographic's as a kid - I just loved seeing the world through those images, and I wanted those experiences for myself.

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR PATH TO GET THERE. From the early years I was always photographing for myself, mainly through my walks in the woods. I attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography in New England and followed that with working at various labs developing film and restoring old photographs. At one point during all this a friend had asked me to photograph her wedding. I was very hesitant, but soon realised it was made up of all of my favourite things - portraits, landscapes, food and travel, all with cultural traditions and deep emotions. I was in after that.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE? Simple, organic & romantic - I approach this with a blend of documentary and fine art portraits & landscapes.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WEDDINGS? I absolutely love witnessing and partaking in different cultural traditions. It's both incredibly interesting and beautiful at the same time.

SHARE YOUR FAVOURITE IMAGE WITH US AND TELL US WHY. I love this image because it's such an intimate and fluid moment. The wedding was in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It was near dusk and we were wandering back to friends and family after making some portraits as they stole a moment for themselves and a kiss.

CAN YOU RECALL YOUR FAVOURITE WEDDING EXPERIENCE? I photographed this beautifully simple and intimate wedding in Boston once, the ceremony was on the rooftop of the couples building, dinner at a restaurant a block or two away and then drinks and cake at a bar nearby. The mode of transportation from the restaurant to the bar was a fleet of pedicabs for all the guests, all through a sunset lit cityscape of Boston. It was so unbelievable fun!

ASIDE FROM FAMILY & FRIENDS, THREE THINGS YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT? Cheese, music and the woods.

WHERE WOULD WE FIND YOU ON A SUNDAY MORNING? I like lazy Sunday mornings at home, with plenty of coffee & avocado toast.

HOW WOULD YOU SPEND YOUR IDEAL DAY OFF? This almost always involves hiking in the woods with my love, Matt.
