Intimate romantic elopement inspiration on the California coast

With some of the most beautiful coastline in the world, you really are spoilt for choice in California. This beautiful editorial by the lovely MACKENZIE JANE PHOTOGRAPHY makes the most of a small slice of it at Montana De Oro State Park. Known for it's quintessential sunny beach weather, this creative team happened to be visiting during one of the rare times that it was raining in the San Luis Obispo area. 

Mackenzie tells us, "The rainy weather ended up complementing our shoot perfectly, adding a romantic and moody feel to the overall style of the shoot. The stunning gown from ALEXANDRA GRECCO flowed breezily, and with each gust of wind it created the most ethereal and soft movement on our beautiful model, Taylor Hixson. Coupled with the water crashing onto the rocky beach area, what was intended as a simple and feminine shoot ended up feeling edgy and bold, which was new for me, but welcomed and a pleasant surprise."
