Introspective bridal editorial inspired by Madame Bovary

South Carolina Bridal Inspiration

By Magnolia Rouge

Nestled in the woods of Columbia SC, WAVERING PLACE PLANTATION sets the scene for this stunning bridal session by JOSIE DERRICK. Loosely inspired by Gustave Flaubert's Madame Bovary, let me set the scene for you: The rain is tattering on the roof while curtains hanging from the open window blow in the misty breeze. It is here that she will commit her life to another forever. All her most treasured belongings are awaiting to adorn her. She enjoys a quiet morning to herself before meeting her love. Pieces of lace, candlelight and her thoughts are her company.

We love the quiet moments in this shoot. Beautiful blooms by COTE DESIGNS and refined paper goods by THE LITTLE NORTH SEA STUDIO add to the beautiful vision.
