Melancholic bridal shoot amongst 11th century ruins

United Kingdom Bridal Inspiration

By Magnolia Rouge

Inspired by these incredible 11th century ruins in the countryside of England GYAN GURUNG PHOTOGRAPHY together with stylist WEDHEAD LONDON wanted to create a feeling of being abandoned and forgotten with a lone, melancholy bride - instead of finding her amidst the joy of her wedding celebrations. The shoot depicts the bride in the present - reminiscing with nostalgia in her eyes and awaiting her groom in a cold winter morning. It also shows her in the past - distant memories of her wedding day in a warm summer day. Featuring gorgeous bridal gowns from one of our favourites Oregon bridal designer ELIZABETH DYE and KISUI. A textured bouquet by GATHER & BLOOM featured pops of warm oranges and peach.
