Claudia & Simon wanted a very relaxed, fun and intimate wedding. With only 8 weeks to plan their late March wedding � so as to accommodate guests about to head overseas � they ate at THE WINE STORE in Fremantle one week and booked it as their venue straight away. They held the reception in their beautiful limestone cellar basement which offered them an Italian style long table dinner. With candles everywhere, amazing acoustics and lots of space for lounging and dancing it provided them with the perfect atmosphere. With all of their guests already being acquainted it was more about having a party and delicious feast rather than anything overly formal. Thanks to MELISSA MILLS for sending her beautiful captures of the day our way.
Most memorable moment? Friends had set up the cellar during the day with all their instruments and Simon joined them to sing two surprise songs they had been secretly rehearsing for weeks. Elbow's One Day Like This and Bob Marley's Mellow Mood (also the song I walked down the aisle too). The tears flowed! A really emotional moment for us.
Any other details that help tell the story of your day: Our ceremony location at Memorial Park in Mosman Park was a very sentimental spot for us. Simon spent much of his childhood exploring this park and the others in the area with his Pop. The pine tree lined path where we had some photos taken leads to where Simon's grandparents' house was.
