I've gotta be honest, there are days when it feels a little frivolous posting pretty wedding images. This blog isn't the right place for a political discussion however I feel like with the recent events happening in the United States (and previously other parts of the world) it would be remiss to not at the very least acknowledge them. It seems that every week there is a new tragedy somewhere in the world, and whilst of course we all live in our own realities and we have to carry on with our lives, there are times when talking about pretty dresses and flowers and the perfect paper goods all just feels rather silly and pointless when there are people literally fighting for the right to live their lives in a peaceful and safe environment. I won't pretend I can even begin to understand all the hatred that people are spewing towards others and it feels like such an uphill battle to change the situation, but I guess that the one thing we have to hold on to is love and loving our people. It seems rather naive of course to say love conquers all, cause sadly it's never quite that simple and if only we could all learn to respect each other, show understanding and tolerance and simply be kind, then heck the world would certainly be a lot nicer place. Hate is crippling and is never the answer, so I'll take some comfort in the fact that by sharing weddings and all the pretty things that go along with them, we're at least believing in the good this world has to offer. My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by the tragedies.

That aside, today we're showcasing a beautiful winery shoot by Californian wedding photographer JEN RODRIGUEZ captured at the beautiful HAMMERSKY VINEYARDS in Paso Robles. PRECIOUS & BLOOMING FLORAL DESIGN created the prettiest of bouquets and arrangements featuring garden roses in soft blush tones.
