Sweet & romantic Charleston Bridal Session

Charleston Bridal Inspiration

By Magnolia Rouge

This sweetest of shoots by THE HAPPY BLOOM was the result of a 1:1 mentorship they taught. Working with the superbly talented TRISTAN NEEDHAM DESIGN they created this vision in Charleston, South Carolina at MIDDLETON PLACE. Romantic florals by URBAN POPPY had a just picked from the garden feel to them and ROYAL MAKEUP AND HAIR did a stunning job of the hair & make-up - in fact I'm obsessed with her hair!

Justin from THE HAPPY BLOOM tells us, "When Nikki came to TRISTAN NEEDHAM DESIGN and myself to refresh her brand, we immediately picked up on to her goals and creative vision. We knew that throwing her into an over the top shoot with an audience she wouldn't connect with, wouldn't be beneficial to her. We wanted to find a creative bridge that made sense for her brand. We saw where she was: a Florida photographer shooting mostly outdoor weddings in a rustic setting. To elevate this, we took the similar idea, but relocated it to a city known for its high end brides, added a hand made gown from CHAVIANO COUTURE, antique jewellery, and carefully curated paper goods by wedding calligraphy MICHAELA MCBRIDE CALLIGRAPHY. Historic MIDDLETON PLACE was the perfect backdrop. Middleton is known for its beautiful and grand weddings but is also a fully functioning farm. The venue itself is a bridge between her typical barn wedding and the high end venues she's looking to connect with in 2017. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect sunset that day. We're truly honoured to share our experience with such a kind and driven soul."

Wedding stationery designer MICHAELA MCBRIDE CALLIGRAPHY is a member of our vendor guide and a highly recommended wedding calligrapher. She produces consistently stunning work and you can see more here in her profile.
