Isn't it something a lot of us secretly dream about? Leaving our busy lives behind and starting all over on the countryside? Maurits and Annemiek did just that and BIANCA RIJKENBARG documented a slice of their idyllic lifestyle. She tells us, "Together with their 13 year old daughter Floortje they now live in the Auvergne region in France. They started their new life over there a couple of years ago in a really small village in the middle of France. In summer they receive guests on their Domaine and Floortje is in charge of the vegetable garden - they use all their own vegetables to cook amazing dinners for their guests. In wintertime they make beautiful oak platters as the region is known for its huge oak trees which are also used for making wine barrels. They have an eye for pretty details and authentic treasures. Wintertime is also all about strolling through vintage markets to find beautiful French brocante which they sell in their cute little farm store." Sounds dreamy doesn't it?
