IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… regardless of the season, I love to spend every Sunday with my husband. We both love to explore the world together. In the summer evenings we love to go on walks around town. In the winter we love to go skiing and also to cuddle by the fireplace and sip on our coffee for hours!
MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… my husband and I went on a Caribbean Cruise that stopped in Cozumel, Mexico. We didn’t know what we were going to do when we got there, but we decided to be spontaneous. We stepped off the cruise ship and saw a sign for scooters for rent. We bargained with the scooter man, which was awesome, but he decided to give us the worst scooter in the fleet because of it! Our speedometer was broken, so we had no idea how fast we were going. Another thing that was broken was our back break... which we found out very unfortunately when we came at a random speed bump at about 40mph (we'll never now the exact speed because of the broken speedometer). That was a wild ride! We had the time of our lives exploring that island. We found a small beach on the opposite side of the island and we were the only two people there and it felt like paradise!
THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Greece! My husband and I have been looking into visiting Greece and I get so giddy every time I think about it! I absolutely would love to swim in the ocean and see the white buildings in the Greek Isles.
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… is when I deliver my wedding albums to my clients. I love seeing and hearing their reactions when they get to see their wedding day! Every emotion comes out from laughter, excitement, and tears.
IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… my husband and I actually own a coffee shop together! When I’m not taking photographs I am making coffee! I am a huge coffee fan and getting to serve customers and make friendships makes me so happy!
IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… hire a planner/coordinator! Having the extra help will make the biggest difference in how stress free your wedding day will go. The right coordinator will make and manage timelines, work with your vendors for you, and make sure that everything flows well on your wedding day. Your wedding day shouldn’t be stressful!
I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… Idaho is such a hidden gem! Mountains are everywhere around us! Even if you live in the biggest city in Idaho you can be floating the river in the summer or in the mountains skiing in less than 30 minutes. Idaho residents tend to be very active in the outdoors, friendly, and respectful. It’s the perfect mix of a small city and small town life.
IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… after our last trip to Hawaii I begged my husband to move to Maui with me, but he denied my requests. Don’t feel sorry for me though, he knows me better than I know myself. Idaho is actually wonderful and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Maybe someday I will winter in Maui, but for now Idaho is and will be home.
MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? Until I met my husband, my favourite movie was The Guardian. I watched it so many times I could quote it. However, my husband’s favourite movie is Christmas Vacation and I kid you not we’ve watched it 50 times in the past six years of being together. It’s now become such a part of our lives that I have to say it is my new favourite movie!
MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… recently in Maui I had a macadamia nut crusted Mahi-mahi over a sweet potato mash. I have never wanted a meal to go on forever until I had that. I literally took 45 minutes to finish the one fillet because I didn’t want it to end!
THE PETS I OWN ARE… two miniature Australian Shepherds named Chloe and Daisy. They are truly my world. They have very unique personalities and that is what I love about them!
