IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT... snuggling with my dog, reading WWD and forecasting the latest trends.
THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS... I have not been to France! I am dying to see the couture houses in Paris as well as visit the mills where some of my laces are produced.
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS... working directly with my brides. As a designer, this isn't always the case. Each of my clients receives star treatment and is able to design their dream gown directly with me. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the excitement as their gown comes to life.
IF I DIDN'T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE/DO... I have always wanted to be a fashion designer, so it is hard to imagine being anything else! Although, a random fact about me is that I am a huge Green Bay Packers fan, so I've always thought how fun it would be to be an NFL broadcaster. Although, simply making an NFL players fiance's wedding dress would be the culmination of all my dreams.
IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… don’t rush your engagement and take the time to appreciate the excitement of planning and each other! I hate when couples are too overwhelmed with the stress of wedding planning to enjoy such a special time in their lives.
I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… it is such a beautiful city surrounded by the most inspiring places and people! Moving from New York to Charleston has not only opened my eyes to a warm and coastal lifestyle but has surrounded me with the most amazing network of wedding vendors!
MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
THE PETS I OWN ARE… a little dog, a Morkie, named Tompkin.
