Sandrine Boyer-Engel

France Photographer

Sandrine, a fine-art photographer (and herself the heroine of a Franco-American love story), translates emotion using medium format film, creating light-infused images with subtle, velvety colours and a thousand and one intensely evocative details.

From vast landscapes to the infinitely small, from the spectacular to the joyful poetry of day-to-day existence, Sandrine has the rare ability to capture transitions of emotion, and translate the seen and unseen into the universal language of photography.

While clients relax, soothed by her talent for creating a stress-free environment, Sandrine sublimates the aesthetic essence of her subjects, revealing unsuspected beauty in both intimate portraits and large events.

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT... I would spend a free Sunday, either binge watching a series or spend the day at the beach with hubby and friends.

IF I DIDN'T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE/DO... Good question... can't come up with any answer.

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE... I would definitely hire a planner or at least get everything done in advance so you can have a free mind during your big day.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE... it is in between Paris and the beach.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE... Washington DC where I already spent a year.

MY FAVOURITE MOVIES ARE? Love Actually, Usual Suspects are two that come to mind.

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I'VE EVER EATEN WAS... Pad Thai in Thailand, yellow curry. Thai food is my fav!
