If a moody colour palette, spicy toned florals and a drop-dead gorgeous gown piques your interest, then this Mexico City inspired shoot by NATHALIE CHENG is going to be right up your alley! Styled by BLUSHING JOY EVENTS it features dramatic florals by LAURA'S FLORAS and simple yet striking paper goods by SALT PAPER CO.

Nathalie tells us, "Inspired by the vibrant colours and serene light found in Luis Barragan's architectural work and the historical beauty of Mexico City, our team of vendors sought out to create a modern and romantic wedding inspiration highlighting those elements. The high ceilings, exposed walls, and nostalgic filtered light of 16th Street Station was the perfect canvas for our wedding inspiration. Jessica, of BLUSHING JOY EVENTS, styled our tablescape with eyelet lace plates and creamy pink dinnerware from BORROWED BLU and barley and mustard coloured linens from LA TAVOLA LINEN. The dusty pink, persimmon orange, and cream ivory as seen in Barragan's work were brought to life in LAURA'S FLORAS' centerpieces of tulip magnolias, butterfly ranunculus, and seasonal hellebores. Each guest was welcomed to their seat with a modern, minimally designed escort card and menu by SALT PAPER CO. AIMEE MAKEUP ARTISTRY created a soft, romantic bridal look with a loosely gathered low bun and warm toned makeup that complimented our bride's romantic and effortless gown by LIZ MARTINEZ from EN BLANC and gold ivory BELLA BELLE shoes. With the serene late afternoon light filtering in, Laura's Floras' ceremony arch of blossoming branches juxtaposed against the historic beauty of the 16TH STREET STATION doors reminiscent of Mexico City's old world charm was telling of the newness of joy and life in marriage to come."
