Inspired by Alice in Wonderland meets The Secret Garden, this editorial by Dallas wedding photographer JAMIE PARK is a little slice of magic. Charming, organic and playful textures were the cornerstone of the details. The idea was to create a setting unique enough to transport the viewer to a world of whimsy with accents of elegance. BLUSHINGTON BLOOMS used rich hues of purple and mauve, complementing the warmth of THE GRAILY'S historic brick walls and seasoned wood floors. Those vibrant colours were balanced with tones of neutral blushes and lush greens.

THE GRAILY, built in 1911, formerly served as a schoolhouse. After sitting empty for several decades, the new owners revived the building’s character. The venue is now filled with warm and inviting elements, making it a charming setting for any event.

The foundational elements, designed by MORGAN TAYLOR EVENTS, were executed through a mix of dainty and bold florals by BLUSHINGTON BLOOMS, and a grand tablescape showcasing royal touches of gold matched with soft purple silks. This regal and gentle balance can also be seen in the other design elements, including the cake by KAYLI BAKES CAKES, the stationery from MAGNOLIA PAPERIE CO., and the rentals provided by ROYAL EVENT RENTALS. Every detail was inspired delicately by nature, as seen in the embellishments found in the SOUTHERN POUR cocktails and the wispy hairstyle created by SWOON STYLES.
