A private Charleston Elopement at WIngate Plantation

For Elizabeth and Danny, the most important factor in their wedding was that they were 'in the moment'. It's so very easy to get carried away with all the details but at the end of the day it's about the commitment you're making to each other first and foremost. THE HAPPY BLOOM had the pleasure of captured this intimate Charleston Elopement at WINGATE PLANTATION.

"We had already spent ten years together planning, moving, working down right to the bone that we wanted our wedding day to be as simple as possible. We wanted the whole day to unfold before us naturally. The colours and decor we picked were only to highlight beautiful Wingate Plantation. The property itself did most of the decorating for us with the gorgeous oaks and the breathtaking view from the quaint porch. We felt it only right to pick colours that made us feel as one with our surroundings."

Danny and Elizabeth integrated a wedding lasso rosary into their ceremony and it was breathtaking to watch. The “lassoing” act is a symbol of unifying the couple together in marriage for their entire lives - such a special moment to witness."

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT? Hands down our vow exchange! I’ve never felt more connected with Danny or looked so deeply into his eyes than at that moment. It was as if time slowed down and we were the only two that existed. 

WHAT'S NEXT FOR YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND? Enjoying marriage with one another! After spending a decade with each other, you’d think we wouldn’t notice a difference, but WE DO! I love being Mrs. Nunez now, and it’s almost like we pressed the refresh button! We feel like we can do it all! Greece? Another baby? God only knows, but with this man by my side, anything feels possible!
