Hilary and Ryan met as coworkers and then grew into their romantic relationship. Although they describe themselves as being very different from one another, they shared the same vision for their wedding - laid back, not super formal, and incredibly FUN for everyone. Ryan proposed to Hilary atop Maui's volcano, Haleakala, and they fell in love with the island. When choosing a venue, they wanted something unique that still showcased Maui's beauty, which led them to choosing to wed at MONTAGE KAPALUA BAY with its expansive views of Maui's neighbouring islands.

For their attire, Ryan chose linen khaki pants paired with a white shirt and a custom made jacket from Alexander's in Northville, MI. Hilary opted for a beautiful dress from EMMA & GRACE BRIDAL in Denver, Colorado as she wanted something that was casual and felt like a fun cocktail dress. She chose a SHONA JOY luxe tie front cocktail dress in Eucalyptus for her bridesmaids to tie in the soft colours of the natural environment. BRE JANE PHOTOGRAPHY captured their beautiful day on film and the results are just stunning. They wanted their guests to leave feeling like they had shared an intimate dinner party with those they loved and with the help of florist DEBBIE HEMINGWAY the perfect dinner party was had."
