Today we're sharing this beautiful California coast engagement shoot by VICKI GRAFTON PHOTOGRAPHY with you. We love the playfulness and ease you see in these images. Vicki shares some of the couples story with us, "It all began when Hunter and Isla were invited to a beach party in Santa Cruz through some mutual friends. It was then that Hunter first laid eyes on Isla and was enamoured by her genuine smile and laughter. Mustering up the courage and trying to figure out how to start a conversation, he ended up stumbling nervously around her and Isla couldn't stop giggling over how nervous he was. She instantly fell in love with him the first time he said hi and that's where their story begins.
Instead of having a traditional engagement session, they wanted to capture some quiet moments together a couple of days before their big day at the same spot where they had their first moments together. Throughout the session, we wanted to photograph them as naturally as possible and capture the beauty of the interactions with one another. The best part was about an hour into the session, Hunter surprised Isla with a beautifully hand written letter. Everything from the breath taking California coastal cliffs to capturing those quiet moments of our couple made for such a perfect photo session."
