Spring never looked as pretty as it does in this beautiful shoot by VICTORIA PHIPPS PHOTOGRAPHY, captured on the border of England & Wales. Styled by SARAH GARROD, it combines a subtle celtic vibe with the stunning wild landscapes in this part of the world. Incorporating the national flower of Wales the daffodil the delicate nature of the bride is a striking contrast against the dramatic backdrop, which offers such a peaceful and isolated feel to it.

Victoria tells us, Living close to the English border with Wales, we have often been asked to work on Welsh weddings and have become increasingly aware that there issn't an abundance of wedding ideas available to brides planning to tie the knot in Wales. So we decided to style a shoot which we hoped would go some way to filling the void, including as many details as we could think of which were specifically Welsh. We wanted daffodils to feature in a wild bouquet which would fit with the beautiful landscape we wanted to showcase in the photographs. With this in mind we tried to create a very natural, almost celtic styled shoot which would lend itself to the dramatic and ancient surroundings.

There were several details included which showcase the best of welsh traditions such as the love spoon', a beautiful marriage blessing in welsh by Dic Jones, locally sourced slate jewellery, a scattering of spring lambs and of course a stack of delicious welsh cakes! We hope this will bring give welsh brides a little inspiration!
