KRISTEN KILPATRICK captured these images from the open day they held. This quaint venue � called THE UNION ON EIGHTH � is in the heart of the historial downtown square of Georgetown, Texas.
A blacksmith shop. An Oldsmobile dealership. A transmission shop. In its 85 year history, what is now THE UNION ON EIGHTH, has been all of these things. Yet, one thing has remained constant. Its unique shape, enclosed by an antiqued brick wall keeping the venue intimate and closed off from the city. Its solid, hand hewn beams. Its rugged, romantic metal exterior. The timeless look of The Union is made to fit the modern chic bride!
Vendors from Texas were asked to partake in this open house, and together executed such a lovely event with the most gorgeous florals provided from several different wedding designers and florist, and the most divine cuisine and cocktails! Brides, friends of vendors, and guest wandered around as soft acoustic music played throughout the venue. Sounds like a pretty perfect option for a modern stylish wedding!
