If you have a thing for fall weddings like I do, you're going to fall head over heels for this stunning mountain wedding by RACHEL HAVEL. Held in Aspen, Colorado on the groom's family property, it was planned by BLUEBIRD PRODUCTIONS who together with BARE ROOT FLORA did an absolutely stunning job.
Rachel tells us, "As soon as Amy walked down the aisle, she leaned in to Dave's side and didn't let go. Home was in each other's company and it was apparent that they didn't want to be any where else. They embraced the deeper colours of the season with a grey, velvet linen. The florals were neutral and lush, with elements of rich fall foliage sprinkled in. The ceremony looked over a small pond, with the cocktail hour on the lawn, and the tented reception just on the other side of the water. It was a cozy and intimate feeling.
These two wanted nothing more than to celebrate and dance the night away with their favourite people. Their musician friend's played at the ceremony & cocktail hour, and they danced, sang, and jumped the night away to the Matchmaker band at the reception. Amy's first dance with her Father quickly turned in to a family dance as her mother, brothers, and new spouse joined the floor together. It was such a memorable moment.
To wrap the night up, Amy & Dave dance one last dance alone as guests lined up to send them off with a second line. From the moment they saw each other to the end of the night, they spent as much time wrapped up in each other's arms as they could."
