Sometimes life gets in the way of the perfect' wedding planning and you need to adjust your plans which is exactly what happened for this gorgeous couple as the bride explains below. HEATHER HAWKINS got together with them the day after their wedding for these gorgeous images, which were complemented by some stunning blooms from BOWS & ARROWS.

Hunter and I met at work. We started running together after work and over time we eventually started dating. We got engaged summer of 2014 and wanted our ceremony to be in May of the following year, but due to my father's late-stage Parkinson's Disease, we pushed the wedding to January 10th, 2015. With a much shorter planning timeline, we hustled to get everything ready in time.

The wedding day turned out great, but we were on a pretty tight timeline and it was rainy and cold outside, so we only had time to take a few pictures together at the hotel. Heather suggested we do a day after session and I loved the idea! We scheduled it the first week of May and we had so much fun re-living our day together. We were way less stressed and more relaxed. We didn't have to think about anything else, but each other. If you can make it work, I think it's a must-do for any bride!
