Inspired by southern charm and a fairytale-like romance this shoot by SIMPLY SARAH was captured at the stylish Georgian Hall at BARNSLEY RESORT. The first to turn the space into a bride's dream, stylist PARK AVENUE EVENTS worked with a colour palette of neutral muted tones to compliment the gorgeous decor of the Savannah Ballroom and UNIQUE FLORAL EXPRESSIONS created stunning florals throughout.

Hester from PARK AVENUE EVENTS tells us, "Our awe-inspiring invitations on textured paper were just a sample of what was to come for this amazingly stylish shoot. The invitations boasted of handwritten calligraphy, a personalised wax stamped monogram and a floral lined envelope while being tied with a luxurious silk ribbon. Guests would receive thoughtful welcome baskets filled with southern delights and a handwritten personal note from the couple.

BERTA'S Netta Ben Shabu Fairytale collection gown captured the look and style we desired. The gown is hand embroidered with Swarovski crystals on rich fabric with a sinuous train. These along with a heavenly pair of MARCHESA shoes brought the fairytale to life. A soft up-do accented with delicate blooms and paired with a ZUHAIR MURAD veil was simply magical. The bride’s soft and natural look cultivated a sweet angelic atmosphere. The groom's look is inspired by classic trends, a black tuxedo called the Parker and together their attire finished this perfect scene.

The ceremony backdrop was set with a hearth filled of illuminating candles and whimsical floral arrangements. The bride’s bouquet was airy and organic with a hint of maroon that titillated your eyes. Wooden cross back chairs adorned each side of the aisle. Scrumptious bites for the cocktail hour were paired with a perfectly pink signature drink. Guests enjoyed a comfortable, yet causal lounge area right before entering the reception. Leading the way into the reception was the elaborate seating chart, adorned with wax seals and greenery for an eye catching and fun display. The guest table linens were neutral beige so as to not compete with the breath-taking table decor including charger plates, which added a pop of colour. A classic elegant touch was added to the table with English china, trimmed in gold. The tables were finished with lots of romantic candle light, gold flourishing table numbers, exquisite mauve tinted glassware and rose gold flatware.

What is a celebration without cake? A meeting. For this stately occasion however, our cakes were simple yet elegant marbleised with gold lines. The sweet tea favour kits were the epitome of Southern charm and what better way for the couple to be whisked away than by a true classic in the South, a Model A Ford."
