Classic & Elegant Prague Wedding

I think this is possibly the first wedding I've ever featured from Prague� or the Czech Republic at all for that matter. I travelled through this part of the world many years ago and the historic buildings there are so insanely beautiful � they really are spoilt for choice in this regard. Something we are sadly lacking here in New Zealand! Katherine & Konstantine � both Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgeons � (I know right? Very impressive to say the least!) held their wedding at CHATEAU MCLEY, a historic castle on the outskirts of Prague, in an atmosphere of warmth and love. In honour of a family tradition they infused their day with touches of lemon yellow throughout the decor. NASTIA VESNA captured these stunning images of a magical day.

Katherine says, �The venue was absolutely fascinating! Chateau Mcely is heaven on earth in means of everything - service, beautiful location, interior design. It looks astonishing and very classy with shades of history everywhere. We chose it also because of the pre-planned visit of a European Conference on Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery in Prague. It made it easier for our colleagues to plan both - the wedding and the conference.�

TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR WEDDING DRESS: The search of a dress was not a long story. I knew I wanted it to be a bit vintage and classy with subtle lace and delicate embroidery. So when I saw Inbal Dror dresses on the web, I called to Metal Flaque salon in Paris, made an appointment and in several weeks I was there talking to David. He was very amazed by the fact that I've tried on just one dress. But I could say it was love at first sight! The dress was made according to my measurements in 5 months and fitted perfectly

I decided to have lily of the valley plain bouquet as it seems so beautiful and timeless! As for the other d cor it was professionally combined of white, pale pink and yellow flowers by Marketa Motlova. We also had lemons as a detail � it's our family tradition started at the wedding of my younger sister.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OUT TO COUPLES PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? You should try to fulfill your dreams and ideas as it's the day that will remain in your heart forever. I'm fond of vintage and classy stuff so we've decided to make it simple but elegant. I'm not sure that fashion and trends have to do a lot with wedding as we all dream to have just one. And dreams flow not as quick as fashion.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The most memorable moment for me was the eyes of my husband when he saw me walking towards him in the wedding dress. And the vows of course. Its something one can never forget!
