Like so many other Covid-couples, Adalyne and Mitch had to cancel their plans for a big wedding celebration. Instead, they had a quaint wedding ceremony with their nearest and dearest friends. Seattle wedding photographer JANET LIN PHOTOGRAPHY was thrilled to get to spoil these newlyweds with a second opportunity to get dressed up, pampered, and celebrate this unique, but beautiful season of being newly married - despite the obstacles they faced to make it happen during a world-wide pandemic.

With planning & florals by KALEB NORMAN JAMES this bridal inspiration beautifully exemplifies flawlessly elegant ways to add botanical touches to your classically luxe wedding day. Kaleb tells us, "The idea for the design stemmed from the feeling of a fresh botanical aesthetic. Muted tones of blush and yellow filled the florals, with bold cafe au lait dahlias and garden roses, contrasted with the soft potted pansies. We added lots of trailing clematis vines and snowberry for texture, along with overflowing terracotta pots with ferns and ivy to add a warm, homey element to the tablescape. The clean lines and stark white walls added a modern flair that we accented with the classic architectural gown, creating some contrast to the complexities of the tablescape and floral. We brought in shades of soft, romantic blue to the paper goods - by KRISANNA ELIZABETH - and silk ribbon to add contrast and character.

We brought the charm of a botanical wedding venue, THE GRAY LAB, indoors to this clean-slate small event venue, adding pops of sweet, cheerful colour in the florals and warm earthy tones in the terracotta pots and rug. Classically elegant furniture from GREAT JONES NW and a gorgeous, textured linen from the exquisite LA TAVOLA LINENS collection allowed us to preserve a luxe feel even with the modern, botanical finishes.

The bride's textured wedding REEM ACRA gown again perfectly marries modern and classic, with a full skirt, delicate front slit and beautifully constructed modern neckline. The earrings are modern in design and yet, nothing is more classic than a pearl! Her gorgeous BELLA BELLE shoes (why shouldn't every bride have two pairs for her wedding day!?) made her feel - and look - like royalty. The groom looked absolutely dapper in deep blue, with modern shoes and a textured black bowtie.
