Despite their wedding being held in Washington D.C., Claire & Tommy felt like they'd been transported to somewhere in Italy with the aesthetic of their venue MERIDIAN HOUSE - a beautiful historic home with European style gardens. Virginia Wedding Photographers MICHAEL & CARINA worked their magic on their day as you can see in these images below. The gorgeous bride wowed in a PRONOVIAS gown and carried a romantic bouquet of garden roses by STEM & THISTLE.
They tell us, “Washington, DC is not a city known for peace and quiet. The capital city of the United States is usually quite the opposite. But all of the stress and bustle of the city ends at the walls of the Meridian House. In its quiet gardens, all we could hear were Claire and Tommy as they exchanged their vows, and the soft, happy cries of loving family members, followed by long refrains of laughter and celebrating into the night.
IDA ROSE EVENTS perfectly realised the vision of Tommy and his beauty-Youtuber bride with an elegance and flair that was subtle but perfect in the gorgeous mansion at the heart of Washington. Despite the area being known for it’s humid summers, the shade of trees and a soft breeze made the setting beyond ideal.
It was one of the weddings that reminded us why we do what we do, and why we love it truly, and why even indoors, and even in downtown weddings, film always captures emotion flawlessly.”
