This breathtaking venue owned by the Cavazza family was the biggest inspiration for this photoshoot by Prague wedding photographer MATEJ TRASAK. Planner & stylist JULIE MAY WEDDINGS fell in love with ISOLA DEL GARDA when she organised a wedding there a couple of years prior, telling us, "When I first saw this magical island, beautiful park, blooming gardens, fairytale Venetian Neogothic style villa and the terrace overlooking the lake, my heart just stopped. I think that WOW feeling every bride and groom should experience on their wedding venue. That was the moment I realised I would like to do weddings in Italy. I was so surprised that even Italian people living close to Lake Garda don't know about this place. This is why we decided to show you this beauty because Italy is still one of the most popular locations for a destination wedding."
Together with LISA GIOLO she realised that this magnificent venue overlooking Garda Lake would make the ideal backdrop for a destination wedding in Italy so they planned and styled, jointly with an amazing team of suppliers, to show off this secret beauty that even Italian people living close to Garda Lake don't know.
Julie tells us more about the shoot; "Big shoutout to incredible florist Hana from PONK RENTALS who created this enormous floral arrangement in her favourite colour palette of sandy, white, blush, and nude with golden accent. She used anthuriums, roses, pampa grass and dried flowers for the stylish bridal bouquet and together with the furniture from BORN TO RENT prepared the stunning reception table. This concept was also visible on the simple modern cake by DELU CAKE.
CARISSIMO LETTERPRESS created a timeless, elegant stationery suite debossed in light gold and letterpressed into soft cotton paper. A hand-drawn illustration of the gorgeous venue added a personal touch to the invitation suite. The bridal wear including airy dress NATASHA BOVYKINA was from BY TORY BRIDAL and the handmade shoes were from the one and only Wedding shoe designer BELLA BELLE SHOES.
VERONICA TAVELLA chose an untraditional ponytail hairstyle for the ceremony and for the party she changed it to the elegant updo. OMAR TURRINI highlighted the bride's-Elisabetta Rossi's eyes with impressive make-up that lasted the whole day, the groom - Giovanni Pesce was dressed in a perfectly fitting suit by SORELLE RAMONDA and all were touched up by luxurious Italian jewelry from SCOPAGIOIELLI. Thank to videographer LEONID SMITH, you can see this luxurious venue even from the sky in a touching and emotional video."
