This is one of those weddings that you really don't want to miss out on an invitation it just looks like far too much fun was had!! I instantly want to be friends with them all and join in the festivities. It reminds me of an village fete! I mean herding ducks in your wedding dress, a pi ata instead of a wedding cake? so fun! I'm thrilled to share the work of the amazing Emma Case for the first time on the blog today with this country wedding on the brides family farm in Worcestershire, England.

Be sure to check out this talented bride's gorgeous illustrations chances are you've seen some of them at H&M or Gap.. they're super cute! Dawn shares more about their day with us

What was the inspiration for your wedding?I always knew I wanted to get married where I grew up, even though I now live in London I am still very close to my family home and always imagined having it there, we did look at a few barns and village halls around the local area where you had the option to make it a bit more DIY but everywhere we looked just started to seem a little too far from home, and as we wanted to get married in my local Church we didn't want our guests to have to travel too far to the reception afterwards. So we thought a Marquee in our field on our farm would be perfect! Then we could do whatever we wanted!

Tell us about finding your wedding dress: I had tried on it must have been over 50 dresses when I cam across Luella's Boudoir at a vintage wedding fair in London. I booked in for an appointment to visit her boutique in Wimbledon; it was by far the best shop I'd visited!! I loved the fact that I hadn't seen anything before! The dress was called Maria by Otaduy. I was drawn to the soft pink/peach tulle skirt of the dress! It had a thick cream lace top bodice to it with tiny buttons down the back. It also had some shoulder straps on which I had taken off.

Any DIY/Budget elements? Yeh, loads! Homemade bunting, stencil banners and wooden signs from reclaimed wood from my dad's chicken sheds! , Vintage flags, crates/suitcases, deckchairs, coffee sacks, tins/jars, old milk bottles with advertising on bought from car boots. Borrowed hay bales from a family friend. Festoon lighting and coconut shy, from ebay. DIY dress up area made and put together ourselves. Candelabras, plastic animals, joke bags, storm lanterns, retro pineapple and apple ice cube holders, plastic parrots for bar, croquets pillows and blankets in woven baskets, scrabble letters and stands, stepladders, again all from car boot sales. Giant industrial cable reels which we used as tables in the seating area found in on my dads farm! 6 oak whiskey barrels for tables outside and tin baths for beers also from car boot sales.

I made all the stationery myself, as I am a stationery designer. Our table names were all animals! So we had the dinosaur table, cow table etc!! The table plan was some reclaimed wood hammered together to make a huge sign. Each table was labelled with the animals head, mounted like a hunting trophy. The names were Dynamo labels stuck underneath. There's some great photos of guests faces when they realised they were on the dinosaur or pig table!

Describe your wedding flowers: Soft and natural, I them to look like they had been just thrown together! - We don't like anything too thought out or styled. Mark's mum, did all our flowers with her good friend! And we had loads!! These are the few I can remember... Peach Hypericum Berries, Craspedia, Astible, Roses, David Austin Roses, Gypsophila, Peonies, hydrangea, lavender, stocks, thistle, spray daisies.

Most memorable moment? We gave everyone sparklers to wave us off at the end of the night. My husband had organised Karma Kars (surprise to me!:-D) to take us off for the evening. The car pulled up outside the marquee covered in fairy lights. As we drove off, je ne regrette rien blared from the music system, the crowd parted and we drove through a sea of sparklers, we both sat back in the car looked at each and said 'I didn't think that would work!' The whole day was perfect.
