For Hawaii wedding florist DESIGNS BY HEMINGWAY it's the beauty of Hawaii itself and all the spring seasonal blooms that inspire her the most. She tells us, "Combining European blooms with accents of tropical orchids and foraged blooms from the wild, I try to show couples pretty inspiration colour palettes that work well together. I started a small organic floral garden on our property to experiment with growing specialty blooms and it is so much fun to see the blooms grow from small seedlings to maturity. Some of our combos from this inspiration shoot are amarylis, ranunculus, creme brûlée phlox, sweet peas, apricot lemonaide cosmos, mexican creeper, phalaeonopis orchids, double tulips and fruits.“

My goal was to illustrate not only the soft romanticism of life, but also the wild and adventurous parts. What better place to capture both romance and wonder than in the beautiful, untamed landscapes of the Hawaiian Islands. Through many months of collaboration and the hard work of Debbie of DESIGNS BY HEMINGWAY, we made that vision into a reality.”
PAPERTREE STUDIO created a beautiful paper suite to work with the soft colours of the florals. A table in the most delightful array of spring colour was laden with beautiful tableware from HEMINGWAY FINE ART STUDIO and an adorable cake by EMBELLISH MAUI was a sweet addition.
