With this romantic chateau wedding editorial Cannes Wedding Photographer THOMAS AUDIFFREN and wedding planner CHER AMOUR EVENTS wanted to inspire future couples to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a romantic summer garden. The design was inspired by old world tradition and romance in this Burgundian Château - DOMAINE DU RÉVEILLION - in the heart of France. Camille from CHER AMOUR shares with us, "It was all about embodying the tradition with a handwritten love letter beginning with “Cher Amour”, meaning “Dear Love”. When it comes to love, I feel it is important to return to the authenticity of something as simple as a declaration of love written with a pen on paper.
Le DOMAINE DU RÉVEILLION was the perfect venue for this day and inspired me to create a delicate palette of blush and peach that perfectly matched with the atmosphere of this 19th century French Château. The design invited us to express genuine love in its purest element. Living the “French Art de Vivre” was part of this unique experience, with a bespoke menu created for this exceptional day, offering typical French delicacies accompanied by well-known Burgundian Wines, perfect for the occasion.
The florals by LES EPHÉMÈRES played a major part in the design, in all its elements, down to the tiniest detail. To feel this soothing romance, we used pastel hues and floral details throughout. We played with colour and texture in all designed elements. ATELIER PRESZBURGER was inspired by the venue, old world romance and flowers to craft a tailor-made stationery suite with a golden monogram and a Renaissance-style blush flowers pattern.
LES EPHÉMÈRES created magnificent florals with utterly romantic blooms in soft summer pastels and a twist of English Garden. The spectacular wedding arch with a luxurious aesthetic also inspired the staircase décor. Every detail was carefully curated to create a perfect harmony with light and airy tones from the ceremony set-up to the table setting."
"Every element highlighted an intimately styled table. With florals and fine China from the porcelain designer Raynaud Limoges, the dinner table is all about French Elegance, with the table set “à la française”. Wedding Cakes and Co’s masterpiece was in harmony with the floral arrangement. With its texture and details, it was the perfect addition to the enchanting atmosphere.
To embrace the ambiance, I selected two romantic and stunning Galia Lahav’s wedding dresses, in blush and ivory shades. The finesse of details with 3D flowers and silver crystal embroidery cascades enhanced the overall design.
This beautiful day began with our dazzling bride discovering the love letter of her beloved one. She put on her wedding dress with a sheer square neckline corset with her Bella Belle Shoes and highlighted her natural beauty with a makeup signed by Antalya. Then, she was ready to meet her dapper husband-to-be in a Rives Paris Tuxedo for their first look in the romantic staircase. The intimate, yet spectacular ceremony took place in the gardens and was filled with emotions, perfectly captured by the videographer Thomas Augier. The bride changed into her alluring second wedding dress, bringing a glamorous touch with a low plunging V-neck and its dramatic flared skirt with a long train. Then, the party could start to celebrate traditional love!"
