What can we say about this shoot from MICHAEL RADFORD PHOTOGRAPHY and TINGE FLORAL aside from the fact that it's utterly gorgeous!! Captured at their FILM & FLORA workshop in California, it's full of stunning floral inspiration, gorgeous gowns from EMILY RIGGS BRIDAL and pretty paper goods from MON VOIR.

Ashley from Tinge tells us "Near the beginning of the year I was in California doing an editorial with Mike. We had talked about the idea of teaching and how it was something both of us really enjoyed. He had this idea of combining the two students together into one workshop and I thought it was brilliant! This way we were able to keep the groups small so that the learning could also be one-on-one and each student would get the full attention of the instructor. Film and Flora is a workshop designed for florists and photographers to learn their crafts separately but work together to build vendor relationships and create beautiful images. While we worked hard to get the best people on board to give the photographers and florists beautiful imagery, we really wanted to make sure the focus was on learning and advancing their crafts.

The inspiration for film and Flora was inspired by the state and area of California we were in. I wanted the colors to be soft, yet summery. A pretty combination of yellows, mustards, bronze, peach, coral, mauve and other complimentary tones. Having Emily on board making custom gowns was such an amazing addition to the workshop. The flow and ease of her gowns are breathtaking and fit the slightly modern vibe of the shoot very nicely. We kept the table design very clean, modern and organic. Nothing with too much frill so the flowers could speak for themselves.
