Our second engagement this weekend takes us to the beautiful mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. Captured by DANI COWAN, Courtney & Lawson are big fans of the outdoors so it made perfect sense to make the most of the stunning landscapes surrounding them whilst they vacationed there.

"Since we got engaged in Boulder and were going to be married in Aspen, we wanted our engagement shoot to continue with the Colorado theme. It worked out perfectly because we were vacationing in Estes Park and Dani had a wedding there, so we planned on having our engagement shoot in Rocky Mountain National Park. We both love everything about the outdoors and Lawson fly fishes, so he had the idea of having a picture of him fly fishing with me standing on the bank. Dani loved the idea and ran with it. The day of our shoot it was raining so we were dodging the rain as much as possible. It was really awesome wading in the water with Lawson. I had never done it before and it was a little scary! Luckily I had my man to hold on to! I really loved how Dani incorporated Lawson's passion for fly fishing with the pictures and that it reflected both of us. Dani was incredible because she wanted to get a variety of landscape shots, so we went up to Trail Ridge Road and she captured some beautiful shots of us up in the mountains on the tundra. All in all, I will cherish our engagement pictures and the memories from making them forever!"
