Inspiration for your wedding look can come from a variety of sources. And this editorial by Southern California wedding photographer AMY GOLDING demonstrates just how random that source can often be. In this case it was a concrete charger! Yep you read that right.

Paired with soft billowy textures from the runner and napkins, the various textures of velvet, acrylic and concrete became a focal point. The cake had accents of silver flakes with a concrete finish. The beautiful botanical garden of MONARCH BEACH RESORT gave for a whimsical feel with a small installation crafted from the ground upward. Planner Aimee Takumi of CONFETTI SKIES shared, "Our goal is always to inspire couples to think outside the box and play with different textures. You don't always have to have a ton of colours to make your decor stand out. Thinking about the setting you are in and what can complement the space instead of compete with it is can be an integral part of any design process.”

Southern California florist OAK & AMBLE created a stunningly romantic bouquet which was paired with a beautiful gown by PEDRAM COUTURE and a striking beauty look by HAILEY MONROE STUDIO.
