Incorporating rich and moody tones at your wedding is perfect if you're planning a winter wedding. It adds such a cosy ambience to any space and can help a larger space to feel more intimate. BEN Q. PHOTOGRAPHY worked with talented florist THE SOUTHERN TABLE with the intention of exploring film in an indoor capacity. Maxine from THE SOUTHERN TABLE tells us, "With the fun, bright and vibrant colours of our summer months dominating the landscape, we found ourselves missing the range of deep, moody tones that the cooler weather brings. When collaborating on this editorial, our team wanted to play on the concept of contrasts between shadows and light in a studio setting. This gorgeous hand painted backdrop by BEN Q. PHOTOGRAPHY created a soft environment for the lush florals. Hellebore, lilac, and scabiosa combined with rich begonia leaves, jasmine, clematis and varigated carnations to provide texture and depth. Focusing on smaller sized blooms gave a light, ethereal feel to the setting. Rayven, of BEAUTY AND THE BLUSH, perfectly styled our model with fresh, glowing makeup with a dramatic eye and loose, natural pinned hair. She freely danced in a stunning LIANCARLO gown underneath suspended wisteria blooms, creating movement and moments of shadow."
