I'm quite sure that Venice would have to be one of the most romantic places for a destination wedding. The canals, the crumbling yet beautiful buildings, the colours, the history everything about it is so charming. Australian couple, Julie and Brian were friends that fell in love on a trip to Asia. During their slow romance Julie became enamored with Brian's witty sense of humor and gentlemanly charm. He admired her massive heart and in hopes of holding on to it Brian popped the question "mi vuoi sposare" (will you marry me). The Italian words would soon continue as their enthusiasm for travel prompted them to plan another abroad adventure for their wedding in Venice, Italy and make it part of a three month trip abroad to Europe. They hired a beautiful wooden boat to carry them to the ceremony at Palazzo Cavalli and then went on a newly-wed tour of Venice and its surround islands including Torcello. One of Julie's most treasured memories of that day is visiting the different spots, which were recommended by their photographer ROCHELLE CHEEVER who took the tour with them in order to preserve all of their special moments in film. Some advice for those of your planning a destination wedding from Julie, "It is important to have a photographer who 'gets you'. Rochelle was all that and more. Our photos really capture the fun we had in the most beautiful city in the world!" Including an intimate gondola ride for two, traveling down the Grand Canal and visiting San George with San Marco in the background.
