The aim of this delicate bridal shoot by Hong Kong wedding photographer ANGEL CHEUNG PHOTOGRAPHY was to show off the elegance of a bride in a modern Japanese way.

Angel tells us, "The bride wore a Japanese kimono in white (“Shiromuku”) with highlights of pink by LUNE LAPIN. White is a popular colour in Japanese culture because it is symbolic of purity. Brides wearing a white kimono on their wedding days is a visible sign of white purity. The soft and airy bouquets by PREFACE FLOWER have a beautiful texture and look very delicate. “SHODO” (Japanese calligraphy) is one of the oldest and most profound traditional art forms in Japan. MABEL LAU CALLIGRAPHY created a calligraphy of Chinese idiom which means the desire for a tranquil life with a lover. All of these elements, combined with her up-do and natural makeup perfectly styled by LUCY KWONG, completed the feminine and classic look we were aiming for."
