This gorgeous shoot by ASHLEY RAE PHOTOGRAPHY is in a perfect summer wedding palette of fresh cool tones of ivory and white in a natural woodland setting. Surrounded by soft olive trees, the location sets the mood for a muted palette of green and soft earth tones. Inspiration was taken from the environment and a tablescape was designed in keeping with it. Featuring wooden candlesticks with creamy candles and fresh organic blooms, it's contemporary and modern without being too stark. The combination of grey tones with the gold flatware is a favourite of ours.
Ashley shares with us; "I'm a sucker for minimal clean wedding cakes, so I wanted the cake to be very simplistic in nature with added greenery vines. The minimal aesthetic of the soft cake and gold leaf cake cutter was a pure match for an effortless yet sophisticated look. The bride's soft chiffon CAROL HANNAH gown was ethereal with a timeless and feminine feel. Purity and simplicity in the bride's essence was the key to pulling the entire look together.The invitation suite by INK & PRESS CO. was mixed hand-drawn organic florals with modern and classic fonts adorned with fresh blooms from the bouquet and glorious wax seals. The florals by THE PETAL THEORY were wildly organic paired with layers of lush muted ribbon. White blooms against the soft woodland tones was the perfect bit of swoon."
