We're loving the moody vibe of this bridal shoot by SWEET ROOT VILLAGE that we featured in Issue 12 of the magazine. Choosing to work with just a handful of key elements such as the stunning gown from GOSSAMER they built upon their concept of timeless beauty. Floral arrangements were made up of buttery garden roses, white peonies, blooming vines, daffodils and tulips. The warm tones from which contrast strikingly against the cooler walls.

The ladies from SWEET ROOT VILLAGE tell us, "A friend had recently mentioned a beautiful historic chapel on a farm in Bloomfield, Virginia, that her family is restoring. After peeking at a few pictures on her phone, we were immediately smitten and the ideas started flowing! The moody lighting from the towering windows perfectly highlighted the worn teal walls that reveal layer upon layer of the past 158 years, including faded murals and marks still visible from where the pews once were. It was important to us to create a relaxed setting where would could enjoy a day of creating beautiful things with our favourite people, and to make the most of this unbelievable space, so we only selected a few elements to work with, to build our concept of 'timeless beauty'.
