With fond memories of the Oregon Coast from their early dating days, when it came to deciding on a location for the engagement session it was easily one of their top choices. �Not only for the memories we have made there together but also for the beautiful color palate and unique natural settings. We were both born and raised in Oregon and knew we wanted to utilize the beautiful scenery of this amazing state in our photos. Ultimately, we chose Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City for its unique sandstone formations and beautiful coastal setting, got a date on the calendar and prayed for clear sunny skies!�
Taking advantage of the soft tones and pastel colours found at the beach, Brittany styled their outfits to complement the neutral surroundings. Her natural make-up and soft beachy waves made for some stunning windswept images, and the understated floral crown gave them a touch of colour.
�I remember in the weeks leading up to our shoot I was extremely nervous about the weather, I checked the forecast daily. The few weekends prior were grey and stormy, often with rainy evenings. But come the day of our shoot we were, once again, blessed with amazing weather at the Coast. The evening was perfect, with great light and the most beautiful sunset. It was a true representation of the type of weather Oregon is capable of, but often saves for special occasions. Our experience shooting our engagement photos not only gave us beautiful images that we will cherish forever, but added to our growing memories of our time spent at the Coast.�
