Organic bridal shoot amongst majestic elk

The first image in this almost magical bridal shoot by STEPH SMITH will take your breath away if you’re anything like me! With those beautiful elk in the background it takes on an almost mystical and surreal quality. I’m a huge fan of nature and animal photography and I love the juxtaposition of a bride against these raw elements. Planned by Jessica of JLK WEDDINGS she tells us, “This editorial shoot was a long time in the making. I have been dying to work with CAROL HANNAH BRIDAL using her ethereal gowns for an elopement inspired shoot. When we found the perfect model and the perfect location with fields of elk, everything came together beautifully. The asymmetrical, organic florals by JULES DESIGN EVENTS were a gorgeous complement to the stunning gowns. Place settings with handmade plates and sterling silver flatware were paired with etched antique champagne coupes. The nutella crepe cake was a fun, unconventional choice. EVERY LITTLE LETTER’S paper suite with minimalistic lettering on hand made paper was the finishing touch we needed. The final moments in a field of elk were pure magic!”
