Incorporating an organic touch to this quaint 1908 historic chapel in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona meant bringing the outdoors in. Captured by Phoenix wedding photographer VIET Q PHOTOGRAPHY with planning by RIDING TANDEM, an overflowing garden style was the goal for the design emphasised by the lush ceremony columns and the plentiful floral table runner by ARRAY DESIGN.

The natural light that floods into the brick interior of THE WOODLAND PHOENIX gave a romantic softness to the imagery. In the chapel there is a hint of French blue in the space that is further accented with French blue details. The u garden style with feminine blush and hints of white was ideal to soften the strong lines of the chapel space and the slightly more rigid red brick design. The lush floral along the table design was inviting and made the experience feel like a garden party inside the historic space. It was a lovely pairing of old and new, clean and organic, all brought together in a seamless design. The floral designs included various roses and garden roses to offer a French garden feel paired with an abundance of ranunculus for the table design to keep it delicate.

Calligrapher PAIGE & PEN focused on creating something exquisite and timeless to match the concept of the shoot. By utilising elegant typefaces and vintage floral elements these details could be carried over from the invites to the menu and place cards. Inspired by the bright florals and old-world romance the invitation suite features soft light blues beautifully juxtaposed with pops of muted yellows and golds. A favourite aspect of the entire wedding stationery is the French toile envelope liner and place cards which were created using antique botanical illustrations. The two-tier cake by ABBIE CAKES CO was covered in white fondant with a clean, smooth finish with a hint of painted blue watercolour and gold leaf speckles and a very subtle touch of fresh floral.

Viet tells us, "When planning this editorial we chose our vendor list with intention. Each vendor is an expert in their craft and can turn a vision into a reality. Our focus was for the details to be cohesive and for Allison's design to be executed with excellence."
