In the heart of one of Sydney best kept secret park, Karen & Field said their "I do's". Centennial Parklands Homestead provided the perfect garden wedding venue which was convenient for their Sydney guests yet still felt like they were removed from the city. Magnolia Rouge favourite Sydney wedding photographer WE ARE ORIGAMI, captured all the festivities which had a fun and easy vibe to them. The couples goal was to have an amazing party with their nearest and dearest, keeping the feeling whimsical and light.

Florist & stylist Tanya from OH FLORA tells us, "Karen & Field trusted in us to create something airy, dreamy and modern with a classic palette of cream, white, blush and a touch of taupe (an Oh Flora favourite!). Allowing the beautiful lines of trees to frame the ceremony, we decided on ground florals to add texture and romance - both a floral “nest” where they could say their vows and another gorgeous garden at the start of the aisle. The delicate and stylish details flowed into the reception with bloom filled tables, lots of candle light and a fun & fabulous dancing and cocktail space."

HOW DID YOU MEET? We met at university through mutual friends.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: He proposed during sunset at a secluded beach with all our closest friends and my parents. It was incredibly special to be able to share the moment with some of the most important people in our lives.

TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR WEDDING DRESS: The moment I put the dress on, I knew that it was the one. The team at HELEN RODRIGUES was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process.

DID YOU HAVE ANY DIY ELEMENTS? My parents planted each of the succulents that were provided to guests for the bonbonniere. They were so pretty and looked fantastic with the flowers.

DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS: I knew from the beginning that flowers would play a huge role during the wedding. I wanted soft colours throughout and to make it seem like we were in a flower wonderland. My florist went above and beyond, especially with the floral floor installation that was used for the ceremony and the reception.

FAVOURITE DETAIL OF THE DAY: We couldn't choose one if we tried, we have the most fantastic team around us and everything went so smoothly. We loved that the ceremony was very light and romantic and then as the evening went on, we were able to dance and party the night away with our friends and family.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OUT TO A COUPLE PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Enjoy the process and don't question yourself after a decision has already been made. Also, on the wedding day, just enjoy every moment and don't let anything stress you out.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT? Our first dance with the circle of sparklers and our friend singing "A Moment Like This" by Kelly Clarkson.

ANY OTHER DETAILS THAT HELP TELL THE STORY OF YOUR DAY? We just had so much fun on the day and that really reflected our relationship. It was just great to be surrounded by all our family and friends.

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR HONEYMOON: We spent the next four weeks on our "mini-moon" travelling to Los Angeles, Vegas, Palm Springs, Shanghai (where we had another reception for our relatives that were not able to make the trip to Sydney – and of course, our bridal party came with us!) and Tokyo. We're going to Europe in September for our "actual honeymoon" – any excuse to travel, we will take it!

IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD CHANGE OR DO DIFFERENTLY? Absolutely not.
