What do you get when you cross the sublime work of KURT BOOMER with stylist Elizabeth from EAST MADE CO.? A masterpiece is what! With the stunning setting of SALUBRIA HOUSE as the backdrop to CLAIRE PETTIBONE gowns and exquisite florals by KELLY LENARD it's a recipe for perfection.

Elizabeth tells us, "Strolling up to SALUBRIA HOUSE in the countryside of Virginia feels like stepping back in time. Now a wedding site, the inside of the house has been uninhabited for decades, sitting vacant in a grassy field overlooking cow pastures and scenic rolling hills. With no electricity or running water inside, the paint is crumbling, the early spring air is chilly, and dust has formed atop piles of bricks on the second floor. Yet, there is a subtle magic here. We felt it daily, with the morning dew evaporating to reveal an outdoor carpet of purple crocus flowers; with the warmth of the sun's rays streaming through the tall house windows, and most of all with the introduction of lush greenery, CLAIRE PETTIBONE gowns, and our youthful, blue-eyed bride. Inspired by the multi-century history of Salubria House and springlike Chinoiserie fabric and wallpaper, I wanted to evoke a magical feeling of spring's rebirth and rejuvenation using yellows, gold, blue, and peach tones. Our bride holds antique gold fabric from an heirloom Japanese kimono as she preps by her dresser for her wedding day, surrounded by her most loved books and little trinkets. She reclines in her favourite chair in her wedding shoes, trying to imagine this alluring home as it might have once been, while greenery vines and spring growth overtake our morning scene. She is enamoured with the most romantic and joyous florals of spring, but their bright hues only almost rival her naturally golden hair. From her embroidered floral gowns by Claire Pettibone, to her cascading flower veil by ERICA ELIZABETH DESIGNS, to her embroidered floral booties by BELLA BELLE SHOES, she immerses herself in spring’s flora to feel like the most vibrant and alive version of herself on her wedding day."
