When THAT BLISS WEDDING plans an editorial shoot, she and her creative team always make sure there is a really special element included that photographers typically wouldn’t be able to shoot and vendors typically wouldn’t be able to have images of. "Our goal is to create a shoot that is unique and possibly something that some vendors haven’t done before in their real weddings.

This shoot captured by Northern California wedding photographer DITTO DIANTO is a part of the grand opening for a new venue located in Valley Center, California, called SELAH OAKS. It’s a stunning outdoor property that sits on a few acres of land and is fully equipped with a grassy ceremony location, droopy tree cocktail hour location, and a market lit reception space with a built in paver dance floor. The venue itself is a private log cabin estate owned and operated by the Carney Family. They let us take over and completely transform the space into such a magical day.

Victoria from THAT BLISS WEDDING explains further, "We were aiming for a light and airy look in a romantic garden. When we plan styled shoots, there are a few key elements that we will try to always include. With each shoot it will likely have a real couple as models, tablescapes, a sweetheart table, dessert display, and flatlay items like wedding suites and rings. The garden romantic wedding was fully equipped with all the elements plus a beautiful horse. That baby was massive. He’s a stunning chestnut brown Clydesdale who was just about the goodest little big boy EVER. He cooperated the entire shoot and even managed to stay 2 hours past his original curfew time!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Andy (the horse) had the cutest flower necklace, a sweet touch added by none other than Bethany Diriczi

In all, this shoot went amazing and like always, it surpassed all of our expectations. Wedding vendors, specifically planners, designers, and florists don’t always get to be out of the box creative with the designs and plans we do on a daily basis for our wedding couples. Our goal is always to bring to life the vision of our clients, so to get to go wild and try something new or challenge ourselves with epic elements is pretty special."
