Someone take me to Italy - stat! Situated in Puglia, MASSERIA TORRE COCCARO is a hidden gem set in a vast estate dating back to XVI century overlooking the Adriatic Sea, surrounded by olive groves more than 800 years old. WILLIAMSBURG STUDIOS together with WONDERLUST EVENTS worked with a real couple in creating this beautiful shoot to give ensure its authentic feel. It features the bride wearing a simple and modern ALEXANDRA GRECCO gown in striking contrast to the old masseria and a traditional Italian wedding cake called Millefoglie by DOLCI DI MARY, with layers of custard cream and puff pastry layers and fresh fruit. We're also loving the hand painted tiles cookies which are almost to pretty to eat.

WILLIAMSBURG STUDIOS tells us, "A masseria is a fortified farmhouse, usually found in the Italian region of Puglia. It's a large farm complex, where the land barons stored their food and possessions from the 16th to 18th centuries. The tower from MASSERIA TORRE COCCARO used to be part of a line of defence of towers watching the invading Saracens, however the masseria has now been restored into a boutique hotel. In the main courtyard there is still the original chapel from 1730.

There are so many incredible corners around this masseria perfect for taking portraits. This South Italy wedding venue is perfect for a destination wedding, with al fresco dining and it can also sleep your wedding guests. WALKING WINE, a wine cart that's perfect for cocktail hour, can be parked anywhere so we decided to set it in a ancient olive groves and have the bride and groom enjoy a glass of wine together there. To highlight the local territory of Puglia, Holly from WONDERLUST EVENTS used an olive tree to make an escort cards installation. The colour palette of this wedding includes soft colours with pops of yellow, orange and blue."
