Chantel and James are college sweethearts who decided to set their course for a lifetime of togetherness after James proposed during a sailing trip. They chose Hawaii as their location, and designed an elegant tropical celebration in a palette of ivory and green. Faith from WINSOME & WRIGHT tells us, "With so much love for travel, adventure and intimacy, Chantel and James' celebration couldn't be set just anywhere. It is here at HAIKU MILL, a beautifully restored sugar cane mill where old English meets the lush jungle of Haiku, where Chantel and James brought together their closest family and friends from around the world for a day of saying forever, heart-warming toasts, and dancing beneath Maui's stars. Elegance and old romance complemented the natural beauty of Maui's floral and fauna, the mill's vine covered walls, hidden waterfalls and warm air filled with the perfume of jasmine and gardenia set the tone and backdrop for their celebration. Chantel, adorned in her elegant SAMUELLE COUTURE gown with layers of tulle and perfectly placed lace details, captivated the entire room as their officiant Pia announced her entrance with a conch shell. The night was enjoyed with an intimate candlelit dinner, hours of toasts with eyes full of tears and hearty laughter. Their day ended perfectly with a gift from Maui - a magical, heavy rainfall."
