When sweethearts Annie and Tim started planning their wedding after a romantic New Year’s Eve proposal, they knew they wanted a small, intimate wedding that paid tribute to Tim’s love for France and their shared interest in classical music, art, fine dining, and travel. Their wedding was romantic and highly curated, with rich textures and elegant moody berry tones. After a heartfelt ceremony performed by Annie’s father, guests were treated to a stylish reception. Lush, sprawling floral arrangements in heavy urns adorned the tables, where guests sat down to a six-course dinner served with incredible attention to detail and service. “My guests felt like they were in the White House!” Annie laughs. Missouri wedding photographer MIKE CASSIMATIS captured their intimate and sophisticated celebration which was planned by KATIE SAEGER EVENTS.

Annie started religiously following Hayley Paige about three or four years ago,; "I was always so drawn to her feminine and glamorous, almost Grecian designs. I had my eye on one particular gown, the ‘Remington’, which featured an illusion neckline, long sleeves and a lace and silk floral appliqué bodice and sleeves. It was the first dress I tried on, and I knew immediately it was ‘the one’. However, I made several design changes to it to make it ‘more Annie’, including making the skirt out of silk chiffon and using blush and nude fabrics in the bodice and skirt, so the dress is actually a very subtle blush.”

One of my dearest friends and clients graciously offered her home to us for the wedding, which moved us deeply. She and her husband have a beautiful, old French estate filled with antiques and art they’ve collected worldwide, and dark wooden beams across the gallery ceiling, which stretches the entire length of the home. When you walk inside, you feel like you’re actually in a home in Provence. Words don’t do it justice! It’s breathtaking, and the house grounds are equally lovely, with ivy streaming down the brick walls. It was perfect for our intimate gathering, and oozed romance.

We chose to have just 22 guests, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every moment was experienced collectively; every course at dinner eaten together; every story heard. I didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. I was next to my husband all night, holding his hand, surrounded by our nearest and dearest."
