It's such a treat to feature the beautiful work of PAULA O'HARA and this Irish wedding editorial is nothing short of utterly divine! With planning and design by LOVE & GATHERINGS they wanted to create a story that was full of newness, whilst utterly romantic in a way that’s very special to Ireland. It takes place in a beautifully restored 17th century mansion, GLOSTER HOUSE. A gloriously lived-in family home, Gloster is also one of Ireland's most magical places to celebrate, its authentic grandeur glistening in the rolling fields of the Irish countryside.
Taking advantage of the venue's natural light and space, antique details, and subtle colour scheme, the palette was set around dusty corals, powder blues and sepia-tinged pastels - a lot of colour, but in such delicate tones, that it's always elegant. The decor offers a contemporary take on chintzy matchimalism, inspired by the abundance of toile-patterned objects and fabrics at the venue. Kate loves bringing personalised, contextualised elements into an event concept, creating talking points for guests and heartfelt memories for the couple.
Hollie, at THE ROSEHIP & BERRY, created floral installations to accentuate the personality and texture there; what she's shown is how a mix of installation styles can create interest and surprise around an event space, whilst still remaining cohesive through a shared vibe and palette.
The original event stationery suite by EMILY ROSE INK, features a custom illustration of the venue, as well as her signature floral borders throughout. To continue the matchimalist aesthetic, Emily offered her illustrations to Suzanne at COVE CAKE DESIGN, who meticulously hand-painted their likeness onto her elegant cake, in a seamless collaboration.

Hair & make-up, by two of Ireland's most respected editorial and wedding stylists, brings youth and simplicity to the opulent fashion aesthetic.
