This sweet simple French farmgirl shoot by LEXI VORNBERG has us dreaming of a simple life on the land. You know the kind where you wake up each morning and collect your own eggs to make for breakfast, where you grow all the vegetables you need in your own gardens, where you forage for wild blooms to decorate your table, and lazy days are spent tending to said garden.

Lexi tells us, Sometimes in life photographers hit a point where they feel like all the inspiration has run dry. At that point it's hard to be proud of the work you create and you feel like you are not moving forward as an artist anymore. It's those points where you know you need to sit down and go back to the basics of what makes you happy and what fueled your soul. Gina Weathersby, my mother who is also a photographer, and I decided to put together a little inspirational shoot to refuel our passion for the art. We sat down and thought of simple things that brought smiles to our faces. These simple things were textured, forages flowers, french baskets, hunter books, and messy buns. So this shoot was born.
