Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… It’s rare that I have a free Sunday! But in my spare time I love spending time outdoors, enjoying the beautiful weather that Northern California has to offer. I’d take my dachshund Willie for a long walk, and maybe go surfing – I’ve always loved to surf.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… a wedding I photographed in Tulum, Mexico. The wedding was small and intimate, and the bride was free-spirited. The weather was perfect and the water was strikingly blue! It was an unforgettable, yet very relaxed wedding.

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… Morocco! I think it is a country with such rich history and culture, and I’m hoping to plan a trip there soon to capture its breathtaking scenery.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… having the chance to work with diverse, creative, wonderful people – which includes not only new clients, but our vendors and other partners, too. It’s so special to get to know couples when they are sharing some of the most fun, memorable experiences of their journey together.

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… I absolutely love dogs, so I would volunteer or work for a dog rescue shelter!

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… to be completely honest and upfront with each other! My favourite couples to work with don’t seem staged or superficial, because they are playful with each other and truly enjoy every moment of the process.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… what is not to love about the Bay Area? I love how easy it is to access the mountains, great hiking trails, the beach, and more.

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… anywhere close to the beach, with warm weather and great food.

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? I can’t choose between My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Resident Evil - those are my two favourites!

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… the ramen and small plates from Iyasare in Berkeley are absolutely fantastic – living and working in the East Bay means that I don’t have to travel far for amazing food!

THE PETS I OWN ARE… my adorable dachshund, Willie! He is family to me. :-)
