Arielle Peters

Hi there! My name is Arielle Peters and I've had the privilege of capturing my couples special days since 2010! And after 150+ "I do's" captured, it still never gets old!

I'm based out of Northern Indiana but love to travel for destination weddings! When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me with my husband and two young kiddos, or at the local coffee shop with girlfriends.

My main focus for my photography is to make sure someday when your grandchildren are looking at your wedding album, that they can sense the love and excitement you both had on your day. So it's important to me to make your photos timeless and classic, while showcasing your joy to be marrying your best friend! One of the ways we'll achieve this is by creating a good relationship leading up to your wedding. Through a consultation and then engagement shoot, we'll be able to get to know each other so that at your wedding I'm able to come in as a friend celebrating with you both. I value our relationship and love continuing it even after the wedding is over!

I can't wait to hear about your love story and work together to create lasting memories!

Interview

IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT… curling up for a movie with my family.

MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS… going to the Rocky Mountains with a girlfriend for a styled shoot. It was so majestic!

THE COUNTRY I MOST WANT TO VISIT IS… New Zealand!

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS… the people I get to work for and work with! My very best friends come from this adventure in this industry!

IF I DIDN’T DO THIS FOR A JOB I WOULD BE… a business consultant… I have a bachelors degree in business and have loved learning how to market!

IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE IT WOULD BE… to surround yourself with vendors you fully trust and love! There is nothing like the peace you can get in planning your wedding like when you have a great team surrounding you. As far as just personally with you two though, remember that engagement should be fun and to let yourself enjoy it. Remember that during wedding planning, the reason you are getting married isn’t for one day, it’s because you love each other. Let everything start from that foundation and you guys will be great!

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE BECAUSE… It’s home! There are really great people in the Midwest and (from what I hear) not too many places that are as down-to-earth. It’s also really close to a lot of places to travel and go so it’s the best of both worlds!

IF I COULD LIVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IT WOULD BE… Probably New Zealand! I have a best friend out there and it’s just such a beautiful place!

MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS? The Greatest Showman ;)

MOST MEMORABLE MEAL I’VE EVER EATEN WAS… My husband and I served in a Korean church when we were first married and after we had our firstborn, Marcus, they told me that their seaweed soup was great for after birth. It helped with boosting your iron. It looked and tasted (and felt ha) exactly like what you would think seaweed would. Can’t say it was the tastiest thing I’ve ever had ;) but apparently it was good for me.

THE PETS I OWN ARE… We own a border collie named Glory. She just turned 12 in August so she’s getting up there in age.
